Senior Software Engineer

Join us at myRENOSI to help expand our business operations. This is a full‑time role reporting to the Engineering Manager. Compensation is based on your experience.

Base pay range: $150,000 – $160,000 per year

• Architect and deploy highly scalable, cloud‑native systems using Django to integrate with external HR‑Tech systems.
• Encourage collaboration across teams and functional units to align on strategic initiatives.
• Document technical proposals and designs and refine them with peers.
• Drive product and engineering initiatives by breaking business challenges into manageable tasks.
• Identify bottlenecks, communicate trade‑offs, and provide technical recommendations.
• Participate in software design and peer code reviews, providing feedback.
• Support production software and participate in on‑call rotation.

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building high‑availability web applications with Python/Django or equivalent.
• Experience designing and building APIs that connect disparate systems.
• Ability to quickly ramp up on new systems and demonstrate willingness to learn.
• Strong proficiency in software design principles and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and culture promotion.
• Passion for continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies.

• Experience writing and maintaining production code in Python/Django.
• Innovation mindset with focus on automation, testing, reliability, and scalability.
• Experience with payroll, HR tech, healthcare, or insurance systems.
• Mentoring and collaboration with teammates to drive technical excellence.
• Work experience in a startup and/or B2B SaaS environment.

Annual salary range of $150,000–$160,000 USD plus stock options (ISOs).
