What You’ll Do
Design and build the human-computer interface for physical data generation — language to dynamic and interactive 3D scenes and motion
Design and build powerful tools that help engineers and researchers move faster. For example
Develop interactive UIs to visualize simulation and robotics data — enabling fast, intuitive exploration of high-dimensional sensor and control data at scale, from quick skimming to deep debugging
Build intuitive, high-throughput interfaces for annotating robotics data — including actions, object interactions, trajectories, affordances, and more — to accelerate model supervision and evaluation
Build an experiment tracking and evaluation leader board: a central hub to compare models across tasks and environments, and drill into detailed metrics
Bring great software engineer practices and discipline across the board (system architecture, CI, testing)
Collaborate closely with engineering/research teams in robotics, simulation, and foundation models committed to building general-purpose Physical AI
Extensive experience with backend and frontend development, with frequent production releases (8+ years)
Experience with Type Script and modern React or equivalent
Deep knowledge of best practices and API design principles
Experience with gathering complex requirements from multiple stakeholders and translating them into intuitive tools
Bonus: Experience building internal tooling to accelerate research workflows (e.g., data labeling, debugging, evaluation, visualization, experiment tracking)
Bonus: Experience visualizing 3D data from domains like robotics, self-driving, or simulation
