Role DetailsThis position performs quantitative research, analysis, model development, and model validation for a number of our products and scenarios comparative to different markets and geographies. As an early-stage company, we don’t have the luxury of specialized Quants, so this role has a bit of everything. The expectation is to learn what it is that you don’t know, then learn it, and apply it to your model scenarios.
You will do your own research, while working alongside our financial industry expertise, and apply the knowledge you attain to the models.
Sample example: what happens to the prices of Solana, Cardano, or Hedera when Bitcoin spikes on Saturdays at 0400 Eastern time?
Required Qualifications- Minimum of a Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative discipline (Comp Sci, Math, Statistics, Physics etc)
- 1 Year of working experience is all that we require, but will consider resumes of all backgrounds
- Must be proficient in Python and familiar with distributed computing frameworks (e.g. Spark)
- MATLAB, R, C++, SQL or some combination thereof to overcome Python’s limitations
- Be able to explain Python’s limitations and why we should develop a model in another technology
- Java script would be cool to have just because
