The Platform Product Group engineers aim to build a trusted, scalable and compliant platform to operate with speed, efficiency and quality. Our teams include Product Foundations (Identity, Payment, Risk, Proofing & Regulatory, Finhub), Machine Learning, Customer Experience, and Infrastructure.

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join the Payments team  team designs innovative payment solutions to empower individual consumers and large institutions within the cryptocurrency ecosystem, developing payment infrastructures, workflows and APIs to facilitate the transition of traditional currency into crypto, and to support DeFi, DApps, and crypto exchanges.

• Architect and develop the payments platform for processing billions of dollars of payments globally.
• Provide technical structure to teams and work with management and stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines and deliverables with your technical expertise.
• Mentor and train other team members on design techniques and coding standards.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code to meet customer needs.
• Be hands-on with coding.
• Plan and implement the multi-year strategy for Payments engineering with technical leadership.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers and senior leadership to turn vision into a quarterly roadmap.
• Contribute positive energy in meetings and foster inclusivity in interactions.
• Engage with upstream teams and enforce SLAs for data availability and quality.

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Experience in uplifting junior engineers through processes and setting a high bar.
• Demonstrated ability to foster high-quality code and software engineering processes.
• Passion for building an open financial system that brings the world together.
• Experience building large distributed systems.
• Experience building simple, scalable and fault-tolerant APIs.

• Experience with Golang, gRPC, Docker, Kafka, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks.
• Experience in the financial domain.
• Crypto-forward experience, including familiarity with on-chain activity such as Ethereum addresses, ENS, and interacting with dApps or blockchain-based services.

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full-time offers include target bonus, target equity and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)).

Pay Range: $218,025—$256,500 USD
