As a Junior Backend Developer, you will support the design, development, and maintenance of the backend systems powering our OTT Video SaaS platform, with exposure to emerging Web3 technologies. This is a hands‑on, learning‑focused role where you’ll work closely with experienced backend engineers and cross‑functional teams to build reliable, scalable services while growing your skills in modern backend and blockchain‑adjacent development.

You’ll contribute to core backend features, help maintain existing services, and gradually explore Web3 concepts such as blockchain‑based content rights, tokenization, and decentralized infrastructure.

• Contribute to server‑side development using Java and/or Kotlin

• Help build and maintain backend services, APIs, and business logic.
• Assist with implementing microservices and cloud‑native patterns under guidance.
• Work closely with senior backend engineers, frontend developers, and product teams.
• Support the integration of user‑facing features with backend services.

Code Quality & Performance

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Participate in code reviews and apply feedback to improve code quality.
• Help optimize backend components for performance and reliability.

Data & Infrastructure

• Assist with implementing and maintaining data storage solutions (SQL/No

• Learn best practices around data integrity, availability, and security.
• Gain exposure to containerization and cloud environments (Docker, Kubernetes).

• 1–4 years of backend development experience (including internships, co‑ops, or projects).
• Foundational knowledge of Java or Kotlin.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, backend services, and databases.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Awareness of smart contracts, NFTs, or decentralized systems.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a desire to learn.

• Video Streaming:
  Experience with live or VOD video streaming platforms.
• Multimedia:
  Familiarity with multimedia codecs (AVC, HEVC, VP9) and DRM systems (Play Ready, Widevine).
