Senior Software Engineer, DIY Design Relevance - East Coast US Remote
Join Vista as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to the Design Relevance team. We help customers find relevant and useful designs to meet their business needs. Our responsibilities include maintaining the primary design search service, extending backend processes, aligning designs with products, and enhancing search relevancy.
What You Will Do- Maintain and extend search APIs, collaborating with search domain experts.
- Add new features to internal configuration tools used across Vista.
- Triage issues and debug production code.
- Review and provide feedback on code written by other developers.
- Translate front‑end and API requirements into new features.
- Build automation for deployment and testing.
- Collaborate with external teams, pair programming, design sessions, and documentation.
- Work on recent projects such as multi‑domain template scalability, semantic search re‑architecture, and design grouping logic.
- Strong coding skills in at least one language (C#, Java, Type Script, Python).
- Experience with relational and No
SQL database design, querying, and optimization. - Experience with cloud platforms, storage, and scalable micro‑services.
- History of working in large code bases and refactoring.
- Strong communication skills and ability to write technical documentation.
- Experience with API design and micro‑services.
- Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with C# and modern .NET.
- Experience with Postgre
SQL or MySQL. - Experience with AWS, CDK, and Git Lab.
- Experience with event‑based architecture.
- Test‑Driven Development.
- Monitoring tools such as New Relic.
US Target Hiring Range: competitive and based on total cash compensation. Actual salary offered depends on location, education, experience, and is supplemented by health, wealth and wellness benefits and long‑term equity incentives.
