The Senior Back-End Software Engineer will be responsible for development and production support of node-based micro-services, which span multiple cloud providers and data centers across the globe.
Must-Have:
Solid understanding of Node.jsExperience with third-party APIs, with an emphasis on REST, JSON, XML, and OAuth.Good knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python, Ruby, PHP, Perl)Understanding of event-based programmingWorking knowledge of web-based authentication and authorization schemesComfortable working with the command line and Linux systemsQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and equivalent practical experience.Nice-To-Have:
Working knowledge of queuing systemsAWS or similar and use of CLI toolsSource control, especially GITRedis and MongoDBUnderstanding of code testing methodologies: mocks and stubsBasic understanding of balancing/monitoring/troubleshooting large distributed systemsSelf-starter, who wants to work in a fast-paced, start-up environmentWhat they offer:
