• Build high-quality, robust, scalable software solutions for a best-in-class learning platform
• Develop code across front-end and back-end components, including automated tests and related tooling
• Review code from other engineers, providing insights and solutions to complex problems
• Collaborate with the Dev Ops team to manage and monitor deployment processes and infrastructure
• Engage in proactive testing and monitoring of systems to ensure a reliable user experience

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent degree or training
• 2+ years of professional software development experience
• Understanding of good software design and modern engineering practices
• Familiarity with modern frontend and backend web technologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience with complex systems and large codebases

• Experience with web technology and the employer's tech stack
• Familiarity with programming languages and frameworks such as Python, JavaScript, RESTful and Graph

• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure management using tools like AWS App Sync, Lambdas, Datadog, Terraform, and Docker
