• Set architectural direction for infrastructure and platform services while supporting engineering teams
• Implement tools and processes for deployment, change, service, and infrastructure management

• Participate in rotating on-call duties to maintain system reliability

• Extensive fluency in AWS and Linux
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, PHP, and Java script
• Expertise in designing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
• Strong problem decomposition skills with an understanding of necessary trade-offs
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional partners

• Experience in instrumenting and observing distributed systems in a production cloud environment
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate performance bottlenecks and plan capacity accordingly
