Your role is to lead the technical advancement of these products, making certain they remain scalable, maintainable, and durable over time. Working in close partnership with product teams, you will convert strategic requirements into technical architectures and address intricate problems without compromising quality. The decisions you make will define the product's trajectory and affect how thousands of learners engage and develop.
WhatYou Will Be Doing
- Feature Development:
Architect and build new capabilities with an emphasis on scalability, maintainability, and lasting product value. - Requirement Engineering:
Partner with the product team to clarify requirements and guide technical conversations to ensure features align with product objectives. - Operations and Maintenance:
Oversee product stability through monitoring, performance optimization, and proactive identification and resolution of issues. - Technical Design:
Drive high‑stakes technical decisions that directly affect user experience and product scalability.
- Jumping between short‑lived projects or pursuing the latest technology fads.
- Contributing to internal IT infrastructure or outsourced engagements disconnected from real user outcomes.
- Being trapped in continuous meetings or managing tedious infrastructure tasks.
- At least 1 year of full‑stack development experience, working on front and backend features.
- At least 2 years as the primary technical contributor for a SaaS product, driving strategic technical decisions.
- At least 4 years of experience working on actual SaaS products, not outsourcing or internal IT projects.
- Experience in using generative AI in your day‑to‑day development work.

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
