RedFOX Labs is looking for a Technical Development Manager to join our team and work remotely with our fellow team members from all over the world. The Metaverse Technical Development Manager will be responsible for managing our RFOX VALT Venture. This is a remote position with preference given to candidates in the South East Asia time zones

ABOUT THE JOBJob Summary:
As a Technical Development Manager with a primary focus on the Metaverse, you will be a key driver in shaping our company's technical development efforts. Your role is pivotal in maintaining code quality, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring alignment with our strategic goals. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure consistency in development practices across the organization.

Technical Development Manager
Provide expert guidance to our development teams, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
Continuously assess and optimize the code base for efficiency, ensuring alignment with our strategic direction.
Drive ongoing scaling of development output, aiming to achieve higher productivity with fewer resources.
Code Reviews and Quality:Conduct and oversee comprehensive code reviews to uphold the highest standards in the development process.
Ensure code stability and minimize the presence of bugs within our development codebase.
Collaboration with Architecture:Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Architect to translate technical designs into actionable development tasks.
Ensure that our development output aligns seamlessly with the company's overarching vision.
Liveops Expansion:Play a key role in the expansion and strategic development of Metaverse, a critical component of our Live Ops framework.
Consistency Across Teams:Work closely with our Games, NFT, and Web Development teams to establish uniformity in development practices and approaches.
Promote synergy among teams, especially as complexity within the industry continues to grow.
Take the lead in setting up and managing our Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
Drive the automation of build and testing processes to enhance scalability and operational efficiency.
Providing Direction:Offer guidance and direction to ensure that technical efforts are closely aligned with the company's broader strategic goals, particularly in collaboration with the art team.
QUALIFICTIONS andEXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven leadership experience in managing development teams.
Strong understanding of the gaming industry, including game development processes, market trends, and the Metaverse concept.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, track, and manage multiple projects concurrently.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Extensive experience with Unity; VR experience is preferred.
Proficiency in Agile methodologies and ITIL.
Knowledge of Dev Ops and deployment pipeline processes is highly regarded.
