This position moves beyond incremental improvements and offers the opportunity to spearhead pivotal AI-driven initiatives. You will integrate AI to revolutionize—not merely enhance—software development processes and outcomes, driving efficiency and competitiveness at a strategic level. This is a strategic role designed for professionals driven to operate at the cutting edge of technology and innovation. It is not a task-oriented or operational position;
instead, it involves extensive research and development, prototyping, and the application of AI to build next-generation software solutions. We seek candidates who are not only proficient in AI and software architecture but also possess a visionary approach to leveraging technology for business innovation.
- Architect overarching systems for AI-driven automation of complex software development tasks, including architecture generation, dependency management, and advanced predictive coding.
- Engage deeply with the latest advancements in AI and software engineering through R&D initiatives, conference participation, and active involvement in academic and professional communities. We need to be among the first to know when new AI technologies emerge.
- Routine Code Maintenance:
Performing regular updates or debugging of existing software to address minor issues or enhance functionality. - Standard Software Development:
Executing basic coding or software development tasks that implement straightforward features or functionalities without AI integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply your engineering expertise to achieve significant gains in development speed, reductions in human error, and improvements in code quality, driving faster time-to-market for software products and enhanced customer satisfaction.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a full-stack software developer (front-end and back-end coding expertise required)
- Extensive experience using GenAI code assistants (e.g., Github Copilot, Cursor.sh, v0.dev)
- Proven track record of successfully implementing Generative AI products/projects/solutions/tools
- Demonstrated experience leveraging multiple LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Mistral) to address business problems
- Understanding of when and why specific LLM models should be selected for different tasks
- Demonstrated understanding and practical application of the Model Context Protocol (MCP)

Working with usThis is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
