Constructor is the next‑generation platform for search and discovery in e‑commerce, built to explicitly optimize for metrics such as revenue, conversion rate, and profit. Our search engine uses in‑house transformers and generative LLMs, powering everything from core search to recommendations and shopping agents. Built for extreme scale, it handles over 1 billion queries a day across 150 languages and ~100 countries, serving clients like Sephora, Under Armour, and Petco.

The Recommendation Cross‑Channel & Offsite Discovery team is building a platform that empowers marketers to unlock the full potential of multichannel e‑commerce discovery. We leverage real‑time shopper behavior from website activity to power personalized off‑site experiences across emails, push notifications, ads, and more, handling up to 10 k requests per second.

The team is looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to build our Customer Dashboard interface so customers can easily manage their marketing campaigns.

• Implement new features: develop dashboard features using Type Script and React, integrating with backend services built with Python and FastAPI.
• Innovate and strategize: participate in brainstorming sessions to create features and tools that shape the future of Offsite Discovery.
• Collaborate on functionality: work with technical and non‑technical business partners to develop and update application functionalities.
• Communicate with stakeholders: keep internal and external stakeholders informed about project progress and developments.

• Strong foundation in client‑side JavaScript, a computer science background, and familiarity with networking principles.
• Solid experience with Type Script and frontend frameworks like React.
• Experience building, maintaining, and debugging full‑stack web applications.
• Experience with Python and a backend framework such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django (or willingness to learn).
• Good understanding of API design principles.
• Familiarity with Service‑Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Experience with relational databases and distributed systems, including caching solutions (MySQL/Postgre
  
  SQL).
• Analytical skills and experience with SQL to gather insights into dashboard reports (Click House, Athena).
• Experience with a major public cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience collaborating in cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Must be located within or near the WET timezone (e.g., Germany, Portugal) and available to work core business hours 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM WET.

• Familiarity with serverless design patterns, particularly AWS Lambda.
