Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Lead Engineer with a passion for building high-performing, user-focused products and who wants to take ownership of their technical direction. At MAGNiTT, you will work closely with Account Management and Design to turn ideas into real features, guide the engineering team on best practices, and make sure our users always get a smooth experience.
If you are passionate about solving complex challenges, mentoring team members, and shaping the architecture of a growing SaaS product, this role is for you, and we should talk about how you might contribute as a Lead Engineer at MAGNiTT.
Responsibilities- Lead product engineering projects from planning and design to deployment;
- Lead on the execution of team KPIs;
- Develop new user-facing features using React.js;
- Build reusable and scalable components and front-end libraries that enable consistent development across the product;
- Develop and implement front-end architecture to ensure it supports new features and can scale as the product grows;
- Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers;
- Collaborate with MAGNiTT teams to enhance usability and product quality;
- Deliver high-quality products on time;
- Deliver high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented code on time.
- 7+ years of experience as a web developer focused on frontend development;
- Proven experience with React.js, including micro frontends;
- Hands-on experience with server-side rendering;
- Proficient experience in developing highly-responsive, web-based user interface;
- Good understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS;
- Experience working with relational databases and Node.js/Type Script to support/supervise team projects;
- Working knowledge of Git source version control;
- Strong communicator (verbal and written) and able to explain complex ideas clearly and collaborate across teams;
- Ability to write beautiful, easy to maintain, well-designed, and scalable code.
