The Role And Team
You will form part of a cross-functional agile team, working closely with 3-5 other engineers, led by a Tech Lead, and collaborating with QA, Product and Design to deliver high-quality work for clients across a number of industries. You will be a key part of ensuring the success of our projects and champion technical improvements within the team.
What You’ll Be Doing- Full-Stack Development:
Design, develop, and test both frontend and backend components using JavaScript, Type Script, React, and Java.- Backend Development:
Build robust and efficient backend systems using Java, RESTful APIs, and database technologies. - Frontend Development:
Front-end development with knowledge of JavaScript and modern SPA frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular, Svelte, etc.).

- Technical Leadership:
Mentor junior engineers, share knowledge, promote software engineering best practices, lead the technical direction on client projects, and ensure solutions are well understood and implemented. - Problem-Solving:
Identify and resolve complex technical challenges. - Collaboration:
Work closely with the full project team (including BAs, QAs and client team members) to provide the best solutions to our clients. - Continuous Improvement:
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends.
- Commercial experience with one or more technical stacks:
Java, .NET, Type Script (Backend/Frontend), Automation, or Mobile (native and/or cross-platform). - Experience deploying and hosting applications on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
- Active facilitation and encouragement of knowledge sharing within your client team and the wider Engineering department.
- Advocacy for best engineering practices such as code reviews, paired programming and automated tests.
- Familiarity with Dev Ops concepts and CI/CD.
- Experience with tools such as Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, Terraform, Splunk, Chef, Puppet or Grafana.

We’re looking for people within a commuting distance of our hub locations and who are flexible to travel to client sites and Create Future regional offices. We are very flexible and trust you to manage your own schedule to balance face-to-face time with clients, colleagues and working from home.
