Intermediate-Senior Full-stack Developer

Responsibilities:

• Your mission is to design, build and implement high quality Laravel based platform while diagnosing and resolving complex issues on a highly trafficked set of websites.
• Transform Design/UX requirements into fully functional implementations within agreed time frames.
• Work with and also improve on existing Software Development Processes
• To participate and interact during Agile ceremonies
• Self Planning - We give the freedom to come up with unique solutions to complex problems
• Delivery - Deadlines can be tight, we like to move quickly. Efficient productivity in normal working hours expected, rather than overtime work.
• Get involved in the lifecycle of our products
• Able to solve complex and unique software problems
• Design and implement new features and enhancements
• Fix bugs assigned during the sprint planning process
• Play a key role in reviewing and approving work of your peers as part of the software development process
• Ability to optimize application code for web performance and accessibility

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma preferred but not required
• 5+ years in tech/development roles
• Firm grasp of Laravel framework (v7.0 and later) with a focus on Blade templating and highly competent in software design patterns
• Firm grasp of Tailwind CSS framework or another utility-based CSS approach preferred by not required.
• Experience with AWS or similar preferable
• Professional, Self-motivated attitude
• Broad knowledge of development processes, technologies, and problems operating highly scalable software solutions
• Analytical and strong problem-solving skills
• Able to work autonomously in all stages of development including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes and testing
• Good understanding of both front and back-end development
• Ability to work from your location with your own fast and stable internet connection as well as a productive home office workspace.
• Professional, self-motivated attitude.
• Proficient in written and oral English communication.
