Siemens Software, a business unit of the Siemens Digital Industries, is a leading global provider of software solutions to drive the digital transformation of industry, crafting new opportunities for manufacturers to realize innovation.

We are looking for developers with a good working knowledge of Type Script/JavaScript and some experience or an interest in developing user interfaces. Working alongside senior engineers, you will be developing new features and maintaining our VS Code extension. The extension is used to write, execute and view the results of programs for one of our data analytics products.

• A first- or second-class degree in software engineering, computer science or related discipline
• Some experience in the development of JavaScript/Type Script applications
• Some experience with Node.js
• Experience with writing extensions for VS Code is highly preferable
• Experience or an interest in developing user interfaces
• Experience of writing unit tests for Type Script/JavaScript applications
• Excellent spoken and written English language skills
• An interest in mathematics and data science is also desirable but not essential.
