Your role will center on advancing the technical foundations of these products, making them scalable, maintainable, and resilient over time. Working in close partnership with product stakeholders, you will convert strategic requirements into engineering decisions and address intricate problems while upholding rigorous quality benchmarks. The path you chart will define the product's trajectory and affect how thousands of learners engage with the platform.

What You Will Be Doing- Feature Development:
Architecting and delivering new capabilities with attention to scalability, maintainability, and lasting product value. - Requirement Engineering:
Partnering with product teams to clarify requirements and guiding technical conversations to ensure alignment with broader product objectives. - Operations and Maintenance:
Overseeing product reliability, optimizing performance, and anticipating and addressing potential issues before they escalate. - Technical Design:
Owning high-stakes engineering decisions that shape user experience and product scalability.
- Jumping between ephemeral projects or pursuing the latest technology fads.
- Supporting internal IT infrastructure or third-party contract work disconnected from end users.
- Spending time in repetitive meetings or troubleshooting repetitive infrastructure concerns.
- At least 1 year of full-stack development experience, working on front and backend features.
- At least 2 years as the primary technical contributor for a SaaS product, driving strategic technical decisions.
- At least 4 years of experience working on actual SaaS products, not outsourcing or internal IT projects.
- Experience in using generative AI in your day-to-day development work.

Working with usThis is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
