- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2 years of software engineering experience or comparable depth of experience
- Professional experience with Java and the Spring Boot framework
- Familiarity with one or more object-oriented programming languages and design patterns
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
- Advanced understanding of IDEs and ability to navigate them quickly
- In-depth knowledge of application programming interfaces (API) and related frameworks
- Experience in API security, analytics, and creating REST API documentation using tools like Swagger
- Familiarity with DDL for creating database objects and constructing advanced queries
- Financial services industry experience
