Your Impact

As a Software Engineer II
, you will lead the design and development of complex features and components for our cloud-based SaaS platform. You will architect and implement scalable solutions, provide technical guidance to other engineers, and contribute to the evolution of our technology stack. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer looking to take on greater technical responsibility and ownership.

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented software engineer with a strong foundation in delivering high-quality, production-ready software. The ideal candidate has solid experience across the full software development lifecycle, demonstrates a commitment to technical excellence, and is eager to grow within a collaborative, high-performing engineering environment.

You will work remotely from Vietnam as part of a cross-functional Scrum team. In this role, you will contribute directly to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of our software products. You will collaborate closely with fellow engineers, QA specialists, and product managers in Vietnam, as well as with the wider engineering team in Leicester in the United Kingdom and other international stakeholders.

Together, you will build and deliver robust, scalable solutions that support our global operations.

This role requires hands-on experience with both backend and frontend development, with a particular emphasis on PHP and the Laravel framework. Familiarity with modern frontend technologies such as React, Vue.js, or Angular

JS is also highly valued. You should be comfortable working in an agile environment, writing clean and maintainable code, and continuously learning new technologies and best practices.

This is a fully remote position based in Vietnam. You will report to the Software Engineering Team Lead in Leicester, working within a supportive team that values collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain complex features and components for cloud-based SaaS applications.
  • Lead the development of medium to large-sized features, taking ownership from design to deployment and monitoring.
  • Architect and implement solutions that are scalable, resilient, and maintainable.
  • Proactively identify and address technical debt and architectural improvements.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers, including code reviews and mentoring.
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define and refine technical requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, including performance and scalability problems.
  • Contribute to the selection and evaluation of new technologies and tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
