Expert Java Engineer

Ciklum is looking for an Expert Java Engineer to join our team full-time in Poland.

The client is a venture-backed enterprise security company focused on helping organizations better protect and manage personal data privacy: customers, employees, or clients. The company is geographically distributed, developing in Israel and US and European operations. The company provides enterprise software for managing and protecting customer and employee data in the data center or cloud. Our PII protection and privacy technology combines machine learning and identity intelligence to help organizations secure personal data and meet new privacy regulations like GDPR.

The candidate should have extensive knowledge of Node.js and Java. If you only know Java, you should be willing to learn Node.js.

• Design logic solutions to complex challenges for our customers, who are among the most successful enterprises in the world
• Write high-quality code, covered by solid unit and integration tests
• Drive technological and architectural decisions
• Review other team members’ designs and code

• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in backend development:
  Node.js, Java (with a willingness to develop using Node.js)
• At least 2 years of development experience with SaaS projects
• Deep understanding of API protocols (REST, JDBC, etc.)
• A solid knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols, such as OAuth, SAML, and JWT
• Full stack capabilities
• Experience with MongoDB
• Experience with Kubernetes
