About the role
Our Platform is the foundation of the Connected Operations solution. It acts as a hub-and-spoke model where core infrastructure and platform components connect with customer-facing features across products like safety, route planning, maintenance, fuel efficiency, EV reporting, and more. The platform is the central interface for insights and management, including login, dashboards, reports, settings, and alerts.
As a Senior Software Engineer in the Platform team, you’ll own the systems you build, shape products that prevent crashes and emissions, and create world-class systems ’ll take full technical ownership of key product areas used by thousands of fleets worldwide, solving real-world problems that reduce CO₂ and improve safety. Your ideas will influence roadmaps and critical decisions, powering products that make measurable impact ’ll work with product managers, designers, firmware and infrastructure engineers to design, build, test, and deliver end-to-end products.

You’ll develop skills across multiple technologies and own the production systems in your domain. You will coach, mentor, and guide engineers in the team, while also receiving support for your own development.
This is a remote position open to candidates residing in Canada.
Responsibilities   Take full ownership of complex features and projects, guiding them from 0-1 concept through design, development, launch, and ongoing support.
Bring a customer-focused mindset to all development, balancing rapid iteration with delivering customer value.
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, ML, and Design to translate high-level requirements into robust, scalable features and sustained impact.
Mentor and guide other engineers on the team.

Minimum requirements   5+ years of experience developing and shipping customer-focused products.
Strong programming fundamentals in Java, Python, Golang, Type Script or JavaScript, with experience designing and maintaining complex systems and services.
Ability to estimate, communicate, and deliver project milestones with your team.
Willingness to iterate on new products based on customer feedback.
An ideal candidate also has   Experience using LLM technologies.
Compensation and benefits  We provide a Total Direct Compensation package (base salary, bonus/variable, and RSUs for eligible roles) and, for new hires, RSU awards may be granted at hire with possible annual refreshes. The base salary range for this position is CAD $126,225—$163,350 and may vary based on location, knowledge, skills, and experience. We value performance and offer options to reward top performers.
