We are seeking expertly skilled and experienced Lead Java Developers to play a lead role in building amazing digital solutions for our customers and business users. The team will be focused on delivering a new state‑of‑the‑art investments platform, an undertaking that is expected to take several years.
About you- Expert in enterprise Java development with Spring.
- Expert in REST API microservice development and event streaming with Kafka.
- Expert in persistence and caching layers, No
SQL databases such as Mongo
DB. - Expert in cloud hosting and containerisation platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Expert in TDD and left‑most automated testing.
- Experienced in low latency, highly performant, optimised runtimes.
- Experienced in agile development practices and the full software development lifecycle.
- Thrives under little to no supervision.
- An experienced development lead and mentor.
- Continuously developing new skills, driving best practice and emerging technology adoption.
- We are forming new engineering capability in our Alderley Park office to deliver
