Lead Test Engineer - remote

In this role, you will support high-impact projects within the federal government, utilizing your expertise to implement quality assurance techniques and tools throughout the software development lifecycle. Your work will ensure that the software delivered meets the highest standards of quality, directly impacting civic technology.

You will collaborate closely with development teams to identify and triage defects, driving quality in all stages of development. This role is crucial for the successful delivery of critical software solutions to our clients.

• Implement quality assurance techniques and tools
• Review code and product throughout the software development lifecycle
• Ensure defects are identified, recorded, and properly triaged
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive quality across the SDLC process
• Work with QE’s to manage cross-team testing dependencies

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Java, SQL, and tools such as Sonar Qube, Selenium, and Cypress
• Ability to quickly adapt to new projects and technologies
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
