We are looking for a strong technical lead to help grow our Singapore engineering team.
This role is primarily an independent contributor position, with the added responsibility of collaborating closely with product teams and providing technical direction. Our Singapore team enables continuous product momentum during non-U.S. hours, and this role will serve as a cornerstone hire around which the team is built.
You will help translate product vision into scalable, high-quality features while setting a strong technical bar for the team.
What You Will Be Doing- Focus primarily on high-output software development, leveraging state-of-the-art GenAI code generation practices
- Take technical leadership of projects from ideation through deployment and release
- Collaborate closely with product managers to assess technical feasibility and unlock seamless user experiences
- Review pull requests across the team, providing constructive feedback focused on quality, stability, and mentorship
- Design creative technical solutions to complex, ambiguous problems
- 5+ years of experience with Python, Go, Rust, or another object-oriented language
- 3+ years of experience with React
- 3+ years of experience working with data warehouses such as Snowflake, Databricks, or Redshift
- Experience building and operating distributed systems
- Experience with AWS and Terraform (or equivalent infrastructure-as-code tools)
- Strong experience developing and optimizing end-to-end APIs, data flows, SQL queries, and infrastructure for consumer or enterprise products
- Experience with event-driven architectures and technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Advanced knowledge of software engineering fundamentals, including:
- System and software design
- Source control and code review practices
- Build and release processes
- Automated testing and deployment
- Demonstrated hustle, curiosity, and humility
- Experience operating large-scale, mission-critical production systems with SLAs of 99.99% or higher
- Experience with Apache Spark
The base salary range for this role is $14,000- $16,000 per month, depending on experience.
This range does not include bonuses, equity, or other incentives.
