You'll join an established and collaborative team of talented developers, contributing to the full development lifecycle of the next generation of Updraft Central. This is a crucial role where your deep technical skills will directly influence architectural decisions, coding standards, and the sophisticated development of our product.

You will have the option to choose your own hours up to 40 per week, and you can work remotely from anywhere in the world, we simply ask that you have 4 hours of crossover with UK working hours per day.

• Collaborate with others on our codebase to implement new features, bug fixes and improvements
• Work in JavaScript, PHP, and Word Press libraries to write clean, efficient and secure code
• Write inline documentation for your code
• Test and produce testing guides for your code
• Manage your own time to fulfil your tasks
• Research / debug problems on your own or in collaboration with other developers and our support team

Requirements

You’ll definitely need experience with:

• JavaScript & JQuery – an essential part of Updraft Central.
• PHP – the core language of Word Press and strong skills in this area is essential.
• Word Press plugin development or solutions built around Word Press.

It would be nice if you also have experience with:

• Git Hub / Git Lab / Git – nice to have, but can be learnt quickly by good developers used to alternatives like SVN.
• Prefetching data and optimizing plugin performance
