Role Overview

REMOTE Lead Python Developer required by our asset management client in London. You will lead one of five teams responsible for the build and maintenance of a multi‑asset, in‑house portfolio management system.

Hands‑on lead with line‑management responsibilities. The team emphasizes back‑end work (Python, Node, Postgre

SQL, AWS) with limited front‑end exposure (React, Type Script, Redux, Redux Saga, Ag‑Grid).

Hybrid working: attend office about twice a week for demos and meetings. Hours 9‑5. Duration 12‑24 months. Rate £700‑900/day.

• Lead teams and manage line responsibilities.
• Build and maintain portfolio management system.
• Architect solutions and mentor junior team members.
• Report to senior management.

• Senior/Lead React Developer/Software Engineer/Programmer experience.
• Leadership experience: project delivery, delegation, reporting, architecture, mentoring.
• Expertise in Type Script, JavaScript, React, Node.
• Advanced Ag‑Grid usage.
• Experience in finance.
• Agile methodology proficiency.
