Harnesses AI to animate historical figures within a Tik Tok-style learning interface. - Teach Tales:

Employs AI-generated videos and assessments to produce quantifiable educational results.
You will steer the technical advancement of our products, guaranteeing they remain scalable, maintainable, and durable over time. Working in close partnership with product teams, you will convert high-level objectives into concrete technical architecture and address sophisticated challenges without compromising quality. Your judgment will define the product's trajectory and affect how thousands of students engages with learning.

What You Will Be Doing
- Feature Development:
Architecting and building new capabilities with emphasis on scalability, maintainability, and sustained product value. - Requirement Engineering:
Partnering with the product team to clarify requirements and guiding technical conversations to ensure features support product objectives. - Operations and Maintenance:
Overseeing product stability through monitoring, performance optimization, and proactive issue detection and resolution. - Technical Design:
Executing high-stakes technical decisions that directly influence user experience and product scalability.
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Jumping between short-lived projects or pursuing the latest hype-driven technology fads.
- Contributing to internal IT infrastructure or outsourced engagements lacking tangible user impact.
- Being trapped in constant meetings or wrestling with tedious infrastructure challenges.
Basic Requirements
Senior Software Engineer key responsibilities
- At least 1 year of full-stack development experience, working on front and backend features.
- At least 2 years as the primary technical contributor for a SaaS product, driving strategic technical decisions.
- At least 4 years of experience working on actual SaaS products, not outsourcing or internal IT projects.
- Experience in using generative AI in your day-to-day development work.

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
