Full Stack JAVA Developer; Intermediate

, with the further option to work from home. The job carries high practical demands for which you will need to have a passion for writing masterful code. You will be a key role player in the development and maintenance of software applications owned or commissioned by Super Group.

The Java Developer (Intermediate) will work within a team of developers, software testers and external suppliers to provide application support, resolve bugs and undertake software development projects.

• Your main objective will be to write modular, testable, and documented code.
• You must be able to function autonomously with limited to no assistance in resolving complex coding issues and bugs.
• Support junior developers with application development.
• Undertake conscious and systematic code reviews with fellow developers to check each other's code for mistakes in order to accelerate and streamline the process of software development.
• Take on development projects under the coordination of the development manager and/or technical lead and ensure full delivery of project outcomes to specification and/or instruction.

• Matrix or related qualification in Information Technology / Computer Sciences.

• Relevant work experience as a Java Developer (Intermediate).
• Well-refined software development skills using Java 8, JPA, Spring and Angular.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Team-player, work in a team and independently;
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail;
• A person with initiative;
• An enthusiastic and positive approach to work;
• The ability to cope under pressure and to work overtime when required.
• Ability to work remotely.
