Mobile Developer; Remote

This is a fantastic opportunity for Full Stack Software Developers with an appetite for change to join our mobile team – remotely!

The mobile services software developer is required to produce work to service content for all digital platforms including both desktop and mobile devices. This position mainly be focused on mobile development using the IONIC framework with Angular. Primary responsibilities include web, and Windows application development and working with the Technical Leads to design and build solutions on a broad range of platforms.

Your duties and responsibilities will include the following:

• Develop, manage, and optimise well‑functioning databases to support application performance and reliability.
• Design, build, and maintain effective APIs to support system integration and data exchange.
• Test software solutions to ensure responsiveness, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, debug, and resolve system and application issues, including software upgrades.
• Interact with databases and caching mechanisms to improve system performance and scalability.
• Develop and maintain front‑end architectures to ensure usability, responsiveness, and consistency.
• Develop and maintain back‑end architectures to support secure, scalable, and efficient application logic.
• Provide system ownership support, shadow other developers, ensure continuity during absences, and deliver agreed tasks within allocated time frames.

You need to have:

• Minimum of 3 years’ continuous, hands‑on experience as a Full Stack Developer (or similar role).
• Minimum of 3 years
  ’ recent and active professional experience working primarily with Angular, C#, and Microsoft SQL Server as part of day‑to‑day development responsibilities.
• Demonstrated experience building, maintaining, and enhancing production systems using Angular, .NET/C#, Microsoft SQL Server, REST APIs, and the Ionic Framework.
• Experience in WEB API, WCF, MVC and Entity Framework.
• React experience will be highly beneficial.

  : SOAP, N-tier, Domain driven design and SOLID principles, Microsoft TFS and Azure, Ionic Experience, Android and IOS experience

• This is a remote position. In order to be eligible, you will need to be a highly independent worker with a stable and reliable internet connection.
• You will also require a backup power solution in the case of Load shedding.

Relevant Higher Qualification is preferred but not required.

• Strong understanding of OOP concepts.
• Knowledgeable about the latest information technologies.
• Staying up to date with developments in web applications.
• Comprehensive knowledge of programming web development.
• Ability to identify frameworks such as OAuth, Azure AD, ASP Identities.
• Source control such as TFS or GIT.
• High level of computer literacy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills (including friendly, respectful and cordial telephone etiquette).
• Demonstrably strong programming logic.
• Business writing, and meticulous note‑taking skills.
• Willingness to learn new technology and try new approaches.
