Senior AI Engineer: Step into a role where your work shapes the future of insurance. At Ageas/esure, we are building on an exciting foundation of 20 live AI use cases already empowering over 900 frontline colleagues — and we’re just getting started!

Responsibilities
  • Help shape the AI roadmap across use cases and technology.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand processes and data, identifying high‑value GenAI opportunities.
  • Contribute to scalable, innovative AI delivery as part of the Data Science & AI team.
  • Collaborate with a cross‑functional squad — Dev Ops, data engineers, developers, testers and Infosec — to product ionise AI services in AWS.
  • You’ll be a key technical mentor within the team, helping to guide junior engineers and elevate our engineering standards.
Skills and experience
  • Experience delivering AI into production, solving real commercial problems and measuring impact.
  • A self‑starter with a track record of taking research and models through to production to drive clear business and customer value.
  • Skilled at balancing quick delivery with longer‑term capability building.
  • Able to communicate confidently and credibly across all levels of the business, from individual contributors to the C‑suite.
  • Able to work independently and efficiently to deliver projects on time, taking project briefs and refining them to strong results.
