As a Senior Software Engineer specialising in .NET, you will play a pivotal role in shaping backend architecture and driving engineering standards across the business. You will design, build and optimise robust APIs and backend services that power a modern SaaS platform, while mentoring others and contributing to the ongoing development of engineering best practice. This is a hands‑on role with real influence, ideal for someone who enjoys balancing technical leadership with delivery.

Highly flexible hybrid working model, with a minimum of one day per week in the office. For candidates travelling from further afield, accommodation costs can be discussed as required, for the right candidate.

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using C# and .NET Core
• Take ownership of backend architecture, coding standards and technical documentation
• Develop and optimise SQL Server queries and stored procedures to ensure performance and reliability
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, contributing to code reviews and continuous improvement

• Strong commercial experience in C# and .NET Core API development within a SaaS or API‑driven environment
• Solid SQL Server expertise including stored procedures, indexing and query optimisation
• Experience with ORM technologies such as Entity Framework Core and or Dapper
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence architectural decisions and collaborate across teams
