Technical Lead - Front End Development

As the Technical Lead for the software engineering team, you will be responsible for technical solutioning for our loyalty ecommerce storefronts as well as guiding teams of developers through the software development lifecycle.

This role requires an expert level understanding of React-based frontend development, Type Script, solution architecture design, CI/CD, and engineering best practices. It also requires good communication and collaboration skills as you will be guiding teams through the development of new product features.

Reporting to the Director of Software Engineering, you will:

• Collaborate with the product team to design new features that bring value to millions of loyalty members around the world.
• Share in the responsibility for your team’s technical health: architecture, best practices, reliability, security, etc.
• Work with the Salesforce Commerce Cloud headless CMS to support the creation of storefronts.
• Collaborate with scrum masters, product owners, designers, and other stakeholders.
• Improve developer and user experience through thoughtful design, rigorous testing, and clear documentation.
• Play an important role in helping us to deliver high-quality products to our partners and customers.

• Great communication skills.
• Experience leading software projects or development teams.
• Experience building applications using NodeJS, Type Script, React, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with test automation and security.
• Experience with Agile Scrum.
• Great technical solution design skills.
• Great skill for seeing the “Big Picture” when it comes to technical decision making.
