GRID object storage – AWS cloud compatible software powering the exponential growth in AI data lakes. As a Software Engineer in Test, this is your chance to work alongside a group of talented developers, impart your vision, and rapidly launch the latest cloud storage software. As a Software Engineer in Test, you will work as part of the Product Engineering team responsible for delivering an enterprise-class Net App software product. You will leverage your development skills to contribute to both the creation and testing of software, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and innovative storage and data management products. Your role will include working closely with development to verify product functionality through automated and manual tests.

• Develop, implement, and execute automated software tests.
• Verify systems/subsystems by understanding test requirements and formulating test cases.
• Support inter-dependent development and testing activities.
• Analyze and document test standards, procedures and results.
• Work closely with development engineers and drive resolution of problems.
• Contribute to test automation infrastructure, labs and testbeds.
• Create and develop test automation strategies.

• Proficiency in Ruby or equivalent scripting language.
• Experience with REST API development and testing.
• Familiarity with networking concepts, HTTP, and AWS APIs.
• Knowledge of Cassandra or similar No

• Understanding of distributed systems.
• Experience working in a Linux environment with containers.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and continuous integration.

  This is a pipeline position that will be opened on a recurring basis and used to fill roles aligned with the required skill sets.

A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or a related technical discipline with 2+ years of experience in Software Engineering Testing and Automation; a Master’s degree; or equivalent experience is required.
