QA & Verifications Engineer

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the reliability and integrity of complex software systems in a fast-paced, remote-first environment. As a QA & Verifications Engineer, you will play a key role in validating software builds, verifying functionality, and ensuring high standards of quality across multiple technologies. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will analyze technical documentation, perform testing across various scenarios, and help identify and resolve issues before deployment.

The position combines software verification, quality assurance, and collaboration across backend, frontend, and Dev Ops workflows. It is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys solving technical challenges and continuously improving testing processes. Your work will directly contribute to delivering dependable and high-performing software solutions.

• Perform software verification by analyzing technical documentation and successfully building customer software across multiple programming languages.
• Execute comprehensive end-to-end testing of application features across various use cases using both manual and automated testing methods.
• Identify, document, and report bugs, inconsistencies, and performance issues to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Diagnose and resolve build issues, ensuring that systems compile and function according to specifications.
• Analyze software requirements, dependencies, and architecture to support accurate verification and testing processes.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand technical requirements and provide progress updates.
• Contribute to Dev Ops activities such as CI/CD pipeline support and maintenance when needed.
• Assist with occasional backend and frontend tasks while maintaining flexibility across technical environments.
• Continuously improve verification processes and stay updated on emerging technologies and testing methodologies.

• 3+ years of experience in software development, QA engineering, or Dev Ops environments.
• Solid understanding of Linux, Windows, and macOS operating systems and development environments.
• Basic knowledge of common backend programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or PHP.
• Familiarity with database and server configurations including Mongo
  
  DB, SQL, or MySQL.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Working knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is considered a plus.
• Exposure to AWS technologies, API configuration, and cloud-based environments is beneficial.
• Experience with build tools such as Maven, Webpack, MSBuild, or similar tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret technical documentation and diagnose complex issues.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with distributed teams.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
