We’re looking for strong Intermediate Software Developers to help us build A.I. products and services. While no experience with A.I. technology is required for this role, experience is a plus, and a candidate should be eager and willing to experiment with and learn new technologies.
Our stack is mostly built with Ruby on Rails, MySQL, JS, and Azure/OpenAI services, but we’ll be using Python more and more as we build out our future A.I. architecture. As such, candidate for this role should have either senior level web development experience, preferably with an MVC framework, or senior level experience with Python, or both.
Your responsibilities as an Intermediate Software Developer:
Build, test, and support the development of web software applications and internal toolsAnalyze requirements and decide the best ways to meet or even rework them; unique and innovative ideas are welcomeBe proactive by finding and addressing areas of technical concernMentor your peers and contribute to code reviews, and be mentored if something is new to youCollaborate across teams to continually improve our processesPromote the use of design patterns and best practicesContribute to Agile ceremonies for prioritizing, understanding, and estimatingSupport the growth of our Agile practices through RetrospectivesWhy you should join us

Degree or diploma from an accredited institutionMinimum 4 years of experience in a professional software development roleExperience supporting and mentoring junior to intermediate developersComfortable developing in an Agile product development frameworkMust Have

Experience developing relational database solutionsSQL authoring and optimizationExperience with HTML 5, CSS3, Java Script Ability to communicate technical details and build functional requirementsExperience with source control softwareAbility to maintain focus on priority, and deliver solutions appropriate to requirementsExperience writing for and improving existing code efficiencies for large data and high volumesNice to Have:
