Senior QA Engineer; Playwright Specialist — Remote

We are looking for a highly capable Senior QA Engineer with deep Playwright experience to join a fast‑scaling SaaS platform operating across complex financial and operational workflows. This role is fully remote within the UK and sits at the heart of a modern, engineering‑led environment where quality, autonomy and reliability are essential.

You will take ownership of the Playwright automation suite from day one, shaping the direction of the testing strategy and ensuring that end‑to‑end coverage across multiple products is robust, consistent and scalable. The engineering team ships rapidly and works closely with product and design, and the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in keeping releases dependable and predictable as the system continues to expand.

The role requires someone with five to seven years of experience in software quality engineering, someone who has moved beyond simply writing tests and instead has experience creating, maintaining and improving Playwright frameworks.

You will work daily with Type Script, modern CI/CD workflows, API testing, and the full spectrum of web automation challenges that come with a real‑time multi‑product environment. A strong understanding of how to structure tests, build fixtures, handle complex data scenarios and reduce flakiness is essential.

This position suits someone who is comfortable operating independently, communicating clearly in a remote‑first setup, and collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams.

The package for this role includes a salary of £60–65k, full remote working within the UK, and the opportunity to influence the future of an automation ecosystem that underpins a high‑growth digital platform.
