The roleWe're looking for a Senior Product Engineer (full stack) to set the technical standards for software development across client engagements. This is a hands‑on role where you'll split your time between technical leadership and writing code.
Responsibilities- Leading technical delivery for our clients, architecting and building exceptional digital products.
- Working in cross‑functional teams
, alongside other disciplines like product managers, user researchers, designers, mobile engineers and more. - Setting engineering standards across Loomery’s community of practice, establishing best practices and technical excellence.
- Mentoring and developing others, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Supporting business development by contributing technical expertise to sales pitches and client conversations.
- Balancing strategy with execution – one day you might design system architecture, the next debugging production issues.
- Building for the future with emerging technologies including AI, spatial computing, and next‑gen platforms.
The salary range for this role is £70,000 to £85,000.
About you Essential experience- Extensive engineering experience with a track record of shipping high‑quality products at scale, up and down the stack.
- Technical leadership experience – you've guided technical decisions and influenced engineering culture.
- Polyglot developer with deep expertise in at least one primary technology stack (.NET and Azure is preferred for this role).
- Product mindset – you think through customer experience and business needs first, then determine the technical solution.
- Excellent communication skills – you can explain complex technical concepts to both engineers and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Adaptability – you're comfortable working across different technologies, languages, and problem domains.
- Experience developing with AI/ML and emerging technologies.
- Mobile development experience (native or cross‑platform).
- Client‑facing experience in consultancy or agency environments.
- Startup or scale‑up experience in fast‑moving environments.
- Interest in spatial computing, AR/VR or other cutting‑edge tech.
