Nexthink is the leader in digital employee experience management software. Our project, Nexthink Workflow, focuses on creating dynamic, step‑by‑step automations that leverage the Nexthink web interface to enhance digital employee experience (DEX), allowing IT teams to automate complex tasks and improve the digital workplace.
Responsibilities- Design, implement, deliver and validate product features (frontend and backend).
- Lead technical discussions, set engineering standards, and support the team in adopting high‑quality coding practices and testing strategies.
- Contribute to the team's roadmap by partnering with the Product Manager to shape scope and define acceptance criteria.
- Handle L3 support requests with the rest of the team.
- Mentor engineers, support knowledge sharing, and help the team grow technically and operationally.
- Work with an agile iterative/incremental mindset, participate actively in ceremonies.
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years of experience in a Software Engineer role, including at least 1 year as a Tech Lead.
- High proficiency in modern Java for backend development.
- Good experience with frontend technologies (ideally React
JS and Type Script). - Solid understanding of API design, integration of third‑party APIs (REST, Graph
QL) and related resilience, pagination, etc. - Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP; AWS preferred).
- Comfortable using Git and CI/CD build tools.
- Practical knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
- Passion for continuous improvement, lean processes, and high‑quality engineering.
- Motivation to tackle complex technical challenges and learn new technologies.
- Excellent written and spoken English, strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong refactoring and test automation abilities.
- Experience with observability tools, e.g. Datadog.
- Exposure to or experience with AI concepts, tools, or integrations.
