For our client, a renowned pharmaceutical company in Rotkreuz, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is comfortable in the deep end, someone with solid experience in large‑scale systems, strong Kubernetes knowledge, and hands‑on skills in Python or Go. You will be joining a team running thousands of clusters worldwide, so ownership and a proactive mindset are key.

• Writing clean, well‑tested code – including contributions to open source projects the team uses or maintains
• Designing and implementing software solutions via design documents (RFCs)
• Ensuring great automated test coverage and thorough documentation of your work
• Acting as a role model and helping the team follow software engineering best practices
• Contributing to the end‑to‑end automation and orchestration of Kubernetes clusters at global scale

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, ideally in large‑scale or high‑growth environments
• Strong background in scalable systems and modern engineering practices
• Recent hands‑on experience with Python and/or Go
• Solid experience with Kubernetes – usage, concepts, and operations
• Familiarity with public cloud environments such as AWS
• Experience in test automation, ideally with pytest
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership
• Fluent English is a must; experience in compute infrastructure & platforms is a plus

• Interest in or experience with tools such as Hashi Corp Vault, FluxCD, Kustomize, Terraform, Grafana, Git Lab, Slack, and Linear
