Senior PHP Software Developer – City London
The ideal candidate will have sound 5 to 10 years proven commercial experience with developing software with PHP and MySQL.
Must have experience of working on a Linux server with good experience of database optimisation and caching technologies such as Memcached, Redis or Varnish.
Will also need to be comfortable working with back-end business logic and have experience of best-practice front-end development using jQuery.
Based in Central London you will be working on the development of a high-end, scalable e-commerce retail platform.
What You Need to bring to the table for this position:- 5+ years of Commercial Experience
- PHP
- MySQL, including database optimisation
- LAMP stack
- Linux
- MVC, ORM
- HTML, CSS/XHTML
- jQuery
- Caching Technologies such as Memcached, Redis or Varnish
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team and meet tight deadlines
- Great knowledge of Apache, specifically Mod Rewrite
- Good working knowledge of Linux, including command line
- Server administration experience
- Ecommerce experience
- Smarty templating
- Competitive Salary: £45,000 - £60,000
