As a Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong focus on React, you’ll play a key role in shaping the digital platforms that help small businesses grow, connect with customers, and operate more efficiently. You’ll build scalable, user‑friendly web applications while contributing to our wider mission of supporting the journey towards An Electric Britain
.

You’ll join us on a salary starting of £63,000 per annum, with the flexibility of a hybrid working model across London, Hove and Exeter, alongside home working and monthly (or more frequent) office collaboration.

Day‑to‑day, you’ll spend most of your time creating robust front‑end experiences using React and Type Script, while also contributing across the full stack – from backend services to cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You’ll also be part of a forward‑thinking engineering culture using AI tools to improve how we design, build and deliver software.

You’re a Full Stack Software Engineer who enjoys building high‑quality, user‑focused applications using modern technologies. You take pride in clean, maintainable code and understand how great front‑end experiences connect to reliable backend systems.

• Building scalable web applications using React and Type Script in a commercial environment
• Designing and integrating with RESTful or Graph
  
  QL APIs
• Developing backend services using Node.js or Python
• Deploying and managing applications on AWS (cloud‑native or event‑driven architectures)
• Writing clean, maintainable code aligned to SOLID principles and engineering best practices
• Implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated quality gates
• Using testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress
• Applying observability and monitoring practices to production applications

• Building modern, high‑performing web applications using React, Type Script and micro‑frontend approaches
• Developing and integrating full‑stack solutions
  , including backend services and cloud infrastructure
• Delivering reliable releases through CI/CD pipelines, testing, and feature flagging
• Using AI tools (e.g. Git Hub Copilot) to improve development, testing and delivery
• Collaborating with designers, product managers and engineers in an Agile environment
