The Role

You will be involved in developing, maintaining and improving a range of web-based systems, applications and client projects. The role will suit someone who enjoys hands-on programming, writing clean code and creating reliable solutions that clients depend on daily.

Responsibilities

* Developing and maintaining PHP-based applications and websites

* Writing clean, efficient and scalable code

* Supporting existing web platforms and systems

* Building and integrating APIs

* Working across backend and web functionality

* Troubleshooting, debugging and improving performance

* Collaborating with internal teams on new projects and ideas

* Supporting the ongoing development of customer-focused digital solutions

Experience Required

* Strong commercial PHP development experience

* Solid programming and coding ability

* Web development experience

* Experience with MySQL databases

* Understanding of HTML, CSS and Java Script

* Ability to work independently and solve technical problems

* Experience working on multiple projects and systems

* Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset

Desirable

* Laravel or other PHP framework experience

* API integration experience

* Git/version control knowledge

* Experience with in IT solutions, telecoms or business systems environments
