In this full-time remote role, you will play a key part in developing and optimizing products at Kin, a company redefining insurance with a customer-first approach. Collaborating across teams, you will lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and ensure high code quality and architectural standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create maintainable code in Ruby on Rails and Typescript
• Lead mentorship initiatives and collaborative programming sessions
• Drive the architectural direction of products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for scalability
• Develop comprehensive technical roadmaps
Requirements:
• Over 6 years of professional software engineering experience
• 4+ years with Ruby on Rails and Typescript/Java Script
• Strong background in SQL and databases
• Experience designing scalable systems
• Effective mentorship capabilities
