This role sits within the team that designs and develops capabilities specifically for the Banking and Financial Services vertical using CSG Quote & Order, our cutting‑edge CPQ and order management platform. Joining our team as a Senior Technical Test Engineer you will collaborate with our cross‑functional team to effectively test features and technology for the CSG Quote & Order product to maintain and improve quality standards. You will develop and execute tests using modern tools such as Karate (API), Cypress (UI) and k6 (Performance). Over time, you’ll become a subject‑matter expert, influencing user experience and product design within our team.

• Compose complex test plans, execute tests, document results, and analyse output.
• Use tools like Karate, Cypress and k6 to accelerate test cycles.
• Integrate automation tools into CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in agile ceremonies (planning, reviews, stand‑ups, demos, retrospectives).
• Work as part of a multi‑skill squad with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers and other Software Testers.
• Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and trends to keep the team at the forefront of innovation.
• Lead small groups of testers as required by projects.

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Test Engineer or a developer transitioning into test engineering.
• Strong knowledge of software testing concepts, research, design, methodologies, implementation and documentation.
• Experience with test automation: writing and maintaining automation scripts.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
• Familiarity with Cypress, Cucumber, Karate DSL and experience in at least one programming language (preferably JavaScript/Node.js) is a plus.

• Remote work from anywhere (Flexibility First policy). 100% remote with optional in‑person workshops in Bali and Melbourne.
