Let’s Roam is a startup (est. 2016) that helps people explore the world and connect with each other. Our culturally immersive scavenger hunts help people connect with their environment through team challenges and interactive games, while our corporate virtual team building events offer a fun and sophisticated way of bringing companies together and staying engaged with one another while living in a remote work environment.

If you’re excited about combining design, engineering, and growth strategy, this is the role for you.

• Gamify Everything:
  Design and build end-to-end games (scavenger hunts, ghost tours, bar crawls) using React Native.
• AI-Powered Velocity:
  You’ll leverage AI (Cursor, Claude, Codex) to turn visions into working features in days, not weeks.
• Customer-Obsessed Dev:
  You’ll talk to our users, look at the data, and fix the friction. If a scavenger hunt completion rate drops, you’re the one who finds out why and fixes it.
• Strategic Building:
  Beyond the app, you'll "AI-enable" our internal teams and build custom dashboards to keep us moving fast.
• A "Design-First" Engineer:
  You can open Figma and design a gorgeous, gamified UI from scratch before you ever touch the code.
• A Full-Stack Tinkerer: 2+ years of experience in React Native or JS frameworks. You know how to make apps fast and crash-free.
• A Prompt Engineer:
  You’re already using Claude or Cursor to 10x your output.
• A Gamer at Heart:
  You understand why certain games are addictive and fun, and you can translate that psychology into a mobile app.
• Scrappy & Independent:
  You remove your own blockers. In a startup, things break—you’re the one who enjoys the challenge of fixing them.
