Solution Architect

As an Application Solution Architect, you'll be responsible for the development of applications using Microsoft technologies. You will work closely with a team of developers to build new features and create software solutions that meet our clients' needs. Your day-to-day tasks may include:
* Interacting with users and stakeholders to understand their requirements and design solution architectures accordingly;
* Developing technical specifications for project deliverables including wireframes, user stories, mockups etc.;
* Performing end-to-end testing on the application through functional or UI tests;
* Working with teams across departments to define scope/scope creep items (e.g., adding functionality);
* Contributing ideas from your own experience when developing new features

Requirements

• Works with other members of the project to think through the best way to tackle a complex technological infrastructure, security, or development problem.
• Collaborates with other members of the project to brainstorm about the best way to tackle a complex technological infrastructure, security, or development problem.
• Takes a deep dive into specific challenges faced by the project to understand the full complexity of a solution and fully leverage all available technical skills.
• Provides guidance and support to fellow team members who might be struggling on their own.

Qualifications

• Four years of recent experience in a software development environment, preferably with a focus on software architecture and/or large-scale systems development.
• Expected to have an understanding of databases, software design patterns, and data modeling.
• Strong experience in software development and IT architecture with a focus on web application development.
• Experience with agile methodologies and design patterns a plus.
