SAP ABAP Developer (SAP Fiori Apps) Part-Time (Contract) Remote/Cape Town

We are looking for an experienced Part-Time SAP ABAP Developer to support the development of custom SAP Fiori applications on our side. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern SAP programming models and experience delivering scalable, upgrade-stable SAP solutions.

Engagement Details

• Remote/hybrid options available depending on location and project requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance custom SAP Fiori applications
• Build side-by-side extensions using modern SAP development frameworks
• Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions
• Support frontend development using Fiori Elements
• Ensure solutions are aligned with SAP best practices and S/4
  
  HANA upgrade stability requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience as an SAP ABAP Developer
• Proven experience developing SAP Fiori applications
• Expertise in:
  • SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP)
  • Node.js or Java within CAP environments
  • Core Data Services (CDS) for data modelling
  • ABAP Cloud / RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
• Experience building upgrade-stable extensions for SAP S/4
  
  HANA
• Solid understanding of SAP Fiori Elements and frontend integration
• Experience with OData services and SAP UI technologies
• Ability to work independently in a part-time remote capacity

Preferred

• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Exposure to SAP S/4
  
  HANA implementations or enhancements
• Agile/Scrum delivery experience
