Senior Guidewire Developer Remote

Location: Halifax Regional Municipality

This 6-month contract role offers an opportunity to lead the design and development of complex features within the Guidewire Cloud ecosystem. With your robust Guidewire Claim Center experience, you will oversee the software development lifecycle, contribute to code quality, and coach junior developers. A strong background in Agile frameworks is essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design and development of application features

• Collaborate on solutions aligning with enterprise standards

• Manage the SDLC from user story to delivery

• Conduct peer code reviews and mentor junior developers

• Enhance automated tests to ensure code quality

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Guidewire application development experience

• Proficiency in Guidewire Cloud and GOSU

• Familiarity with Git, Jira, and Confluence

• Insurance industry experience is preferred

• Strong analytical and teamwork skills
