Position: Lead Full Stack Developer (.NET & React)
This Lead Full Stack Developer role is an opportunity to take ownership of AI-powered products that are already delivering measurable improvements across UK public services. You'll combine modern front-end engineering, scalable cloud-based development and emerging AI technologies to shape products that reduce demand on services, improve outcomes and drive productivity at scale.

Your technical decisions will directly influence product direction, architecture and the next generation of AI-enabled solutions. Working fully remotely, with quarterly visits to Basingstoke (expenses covered), you'll have the freedom to help build innovative products from concept through to delivery.

Your responsibilities as Lead Full Stack Developer

Lead the design, development and delivery of modern software products
Build scalable front-end applications using contemporary web technologies
Develop robust back-end services and APIs within a cloud-based environment
Collaborate with Product, UX and Engineering teams to shape new solutions
Contribute to architecture decisions, technical standards and development practices
Support the integration of AI capabilities including automation and intelligent search solutions
What we’re looking for in a Lead Full Stack Developer

Strong commercial experience developing applications with React and Type Script
Previous experience building solutions using .NET Core, .NET 6+ and C#
Experience designing and delivering scalable software products in a commercial environment
Exposure to cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure

Experience with AI-powered products, OpenAI technologies, Azure OpenAI or Next.js would be advantageous
